Fwd: Newsletter for Sunday 9th October

Dear Friends, please find attached the newsletter for this coming Sunday. As we celebrate harvest throughout the month l do hope you are able to get along to our special services and harvest gatherings, sharing food and reaching out to those in our communities.

As we say farewell to Rev Stuart Evans at the end of November, after many years of faithful services to the town centre churches, and we move into Advent, we continue to ask for your prayers for the town churches as they begin to form a new vibrant community of Christian fellowship and witness in Ruthin.

The Mission Area Conference  took place last Thursday and we continue to ask for God’s wisdom and guidance as we discern the future together. Please pray for the mission area and for growth and especially for the clergy and worship leaders who with us, hold all this together.

Diocesan Conference took place last Saturday, via zoom and nearly 200 delegates logged in.  It was a wonderful morning full of inspirational speakers who encouraged all of us to grow faith, bring hope and demonstrate love, in all that we do in our lives as well as in the church and community. The future is in safe hands if it is in God’s hands. Faith gives us the Grace of God to tackle all the changes of life. A message of encouragement and warmth, which we all need right now.
