Newsletter for the last Sunday after Trinity

Hi All

I hope you’re all keeping well, shortly I’ll be popping into town for our first Song School in St Peter’s Ruthin. This is a really exciting new project to bring young people into the church and introduce them to the life long joys of singing and faith.
Next week I will be joining the families pilgrimage to the Anglican Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham where I will offer prayers for our mission area. If you would like me to pray for anything or anyone in particular while I’m there then please do drop me an email.

Coming up this Sunday as well as our usual services we have an opportunity for fellowship in Efenechtyd at 2pm as they hold their harvest celebrations with a short service of thanksgiving followed by soup. There is an also an opportunity to pray alongside our brothers and sisters in other denominations at the ecumenical service at 2pm at the Catholic Church in town.

During the coming week we’ve got a couple of extra exciting things –
On Thursday 28th at 7pm in St Peter’s Ruthin we’ve got a Camanfa Ganu, gathering to sing some of our favourite hymns with a retiring collection for Cancer Research UK.
On Friday we’ve got Teens’ go Wild at 7pm in Llanbedr DC. This is for young people of secondary school age, gathering around the fire-pit to enjoy enjoy others company and play some games.
We’ll also be continuing our study groups, if you’ve not come before then you are welcome to join. Details are on the newsletter.

Coming up on the 2nd of November we’ve also got our All Souls Requiem Mass in Llanrhydd at 6pm. This special service offers a space to come, to remember and to pray for our loved ones departed. As part of the service there will be an opportunity to light a candle in prayer and if you’d like us to pray for someone by name then please email me with the names by Friday 29th (tadhuw@Hotmail.com).

Yours
