Newsletter and events information for 11th September

Dear Friends, I hope you are enjoying the various activities taking place across the mission area this week and throughout September and I do hope you are able to come along and join in.

But first, a date for your diary, 2nd October 10.30am St Peter’s Ruthin.

We are holding for the first time since before Covid, a mission area service for all our church congregations. We are coming together as a worshipping community to give thanks for the witness and service of the people of the town churches.
You may be aware that from the 2nd October 2022 the congregations of
St Meugan’s Llanrhydd and St Mwrog’s Llanfwrog will be worshiping in St Peter’s church in Ruthin as one congregation.

We ask that as members of the Body of Christ here in Dyffryn Clwyd, we all join together to mark this new era in the life of the mission area and pray for continued renewal and growth in all our churches. As we journey together and seek to bring the Gospel of Christ to all, please support our fellow pilgrims as they face the challenges of the future, secure in the knowledge of our prays, support and love.

But first a big thank you to everyone who attended or helped with the Bats in the Belfry event. We had a wonderful response from the local community and surrounding area at Llanelidan church last Friday with over 50 people attending the talk in the church before going outside with infra-red binoculars to watch the bats. The church in Llanelidan has become a pilgrim church and no longer holds regular services, but it was good to see the church building being used by the local community for such a successful all age event.
