Bad weather
We hope you are managing to keep safe and warm. St Peter’s Church in Ruthin is a warm hub with hot drinks available. Also, Llanbedr and Llanfair Churches are open and have hot drinks available if you are out and about, and need warming up! All services planned for Sunday will take place as normal as the snow should have gone by then. Take care all.
Efenechtyd Coffee Morning / Bring and Buy Sale for Turkey/Syria Earthquake Appeal
We are pleased to announce that Efenechtyd raised a fantastic £702.75 for the DEC Turkey Syria Earthquake Appeal. A great result and Efenechtyd’s grateful thanks go to everyone who came along, supported and donated.
Easter Flowers donations appeal – St Peter’s Ruthin

Died 4/2/23 Funeral at St. Mary’s Church, Cyffylliog at 12.20pm on 9/3/23 followed by committal at St Asaph Crematorium.
Faith, Hope, Love Lent Group
Started Thursday 23 February, 2.30pm at St Peter’s Ruthin for 5 weeks
Join us for the remainder of the 5 weekly sessions and reflect on your own story and experiences of Faith, Hope and Love.
Bible study at Llanfair DC
Fortnightly during Lent started Friday 24 February

Holy Week at Dyffryn Clwyd Mission Area
Holy Week 2nd to 9th April 2023: There is so much planned and not enough space to list it all here, so please see the attached posters for full details and also please refer to the separate emails which will be sent out over the next few weeks. However, in brief:
Palm Sunday 2nd April Procession 9.30am start from Llanfair, Llanbedr, Llanfwrog or Llanrhydd for short service and palms blessing. Procession to ‘The Square’ in town for 10.30am Liturgy of the Passion. 11am Holy Eucharist service in St Peter’s Church.
Palm Sunday Evensong 6pm at St Peter’s, Ruthin
Monday 3rd April: A family meal that tells the story of the Passover 6pm Llangynhafal Church
Tuesday 4th April:
10am Holy Eucharist St Peter’s Ruthin
6pm Stations of the Cross Llanbedr DC

Mission Area Easter Vestry Meeting
An official notice will be published and distributed in due course. However, please note that the Mission Area Easter Vestry Meeting has been schedule for the 27th of April at 7pm in Llanfair Church.
Please don’t forget to get in touch with me soon to let me know what you are planning at your church over Easter. Special services, events, fundraising activities, or simply anything which others in the MA would like to attend (there’s lots, I’m sure!), then please let me know as I will gladly spread the word.
