A pilgrimage of healing, journeying from Llanynys to Llanychan to Llangynhafal

Join us for a journey of healing as we travel from St Seran’s Church in Llanynys to Llanychan to Llangynhafal Church.

We will travel along ancient pilgrimage paths first travelled in the 6th century, stopping along the way to connect with the stories of the past and with nature to allow them to speak to our today. Our journey will end at Llangynhafal church with a service of healing using the Holy Water from St Cynhafal’s ancient well.

Our journey will begin at Saeran’s in Llanynys at 10am, lunch around 12pm at Llanychan and finishing at Llangynhafal around 4pm.

The journey is around 5 miles, mostly flat with plenty of stops. Toilet facilities will be available at Llanychan (for lunch time) and Llangynhafal (we should arrive there around 3pm). Bring a packed lunch with you, we’ll be passing Chili-Cows ice cream for pudding! Dress appropriately for the weather forecast.

There is a suggested a donation of £10 for the day, some may not be able to afford this, others may be able to give more, all are welcome to come.

Please book in advance (donations can be given on the day or in advance).
