Newsletter for Sunday 17th July come and join us for worship and summer fun.

Dear Friends, please find attached the newsletter for this coming Sunday 17th July. 
It has been a busy week for everyone as we approach the end of the summer term and schools prepare to say good-bye to their Year 6 Leavers. Please remember in your prayers the children in our local schools who are preparing for leavers events, or awaiting exam results in the coming weeks.
It is also the time of year when many of our churches have events and fund raisers planned and we invite you to join in the summer fun across the mission area. In this email l would like to highlight some changes to our regularly weekly events during the summer months and some exciting events coming up this week. 
Song School and Dyffryn Clwyd Singers will finish for the summer after an end of year concert in Llanbedr church next Tuesday evening 19th July at 7.00pm.  Come along and enjoy an hour of beautiful music and singing.  The two choirs will resume in September and if you would like to know more about them and what they do, please look out for an update in late August on the newsletter. 
Drop in Friday  at St Peter’s Ruthin will continue during the summer – see the poster attached to this email. 
St Cynhafal’s church summer event this Saturday 16th July – The Rev Natasha invites you to “Join us from 2-4pm in Llangynhafal Church as we gather as a community in the sunshine. We will be serving tea with scones alongside a display of what goes on in our church life. Outside we will have craft activities for the children and a raffle. At 3:30 we will be joined by our special guests from Wern Vets who will be judging a community dog show to find the best pups- we are looking for waggy tails and much more! So please bring yourselves, your furry friends and some outdoor chairs/ blankets and join in the fun”! 
Volunteers needed for Café Cof. We are looking for volunteers to help is run Café Cof in Llangynhafal church. This drop in is for people with dementia and their carers to meet socially with others. Tea and coffee provided with a number of activities from jigsaws to singing, conversation or board games. Do contact Rev Natasha on 07984604878 to find out more. 
Summer Concert at Llanynys church this Friday (tomorrow) 15th July at 7.00 pm see link below to buy tickets. A Summer Songbook by Candlelight Concert 

Wild Church in Clocaenog go on a pilgrimage walk on Sunday 24th July at 2.00pm beginning at St Mary’s Cyffylliog. The walk will take you to Clocaenog along an easy route suitable for wheel/push chairs. There will be a community BBQ at 5.00 pm in Clocaenog church field.
