Dyffryn Clwyd

Another week gone by in no time at all! I know August has traditionally been a quiet time in the life Dyffryn Clwyd with the majority of our churches closing their doors for the month but there doesn’t seem to be a minute to catch my breath this year with so much going on across the Mission Area and plenty more planned.

As well as all our usual Sunday & Mid-Week services we have –

Hymns & Pimms at 4pm in Llanynys Church on the 29th of August (flyer attached)

A coffee morning in Llanbedr on Friday the 3rd of September, 10am-12pm at Fiona’s (details on attached flyer)

Also on Friday the 3rd we have the Welsh Elvis coming to sing in Llangynhafal (tickets available on the website, the link is in the newsletter)

Saturday the 11th of September will see Llanynys, Llanychan & Llangynhafal churches take part in Denbighshire open doors

And on Saturday the 18th of September there will be a day pilgrimage starting at 10am. We will begin in Llanynys looking to St Christopher to guide our journey as walk to the quiet retreat of St Hychan’s where we will celebrate the Eucharist before journeying onwards to Llangynhafal for a service of healing.
