Newsletter 13th Sunday after Trinity

Hi All

I hope everyone is keeping safe and well.
Attached is the newsletter and reading sheet for this Sunday
Also attached is the latest edition of Cysyllte and a flyer for the Pilgrimage on the 18th of September.

This Sunday sees Llangynhafal re-open fully with our first service back since the re-ordering. The Church will then be left open for visitors so do drop in and see all the work that’s been going on. If you can’t make it over you can take a virtual tour of the church on our website – https://dyffrynclwyd.co.uk/our-church-buildings/st-cynhafal-llangynhafal

This Sunday at 4pm we will be gathering in Llanynys for Hymns & Pimms… what better way to enjoy the bank holiday than to relax in such a serene place, enjoy a glass or 2 of Pimms and sing some of our favourite hymns.

Friday 3rd of September – were quite excited to be welcoming the Welsh Elvis, Rev’d Wynne Roberts to Llangynhafal, there’s still a couple of tickets left if you want to come, available on the website – https://dyffrynclwyd.co.uk/eventbrite-event/elvisconcert

Open Doors – Llanynys, Llanychan & Llangynhafal will be taking part Denbighshires open doors weekend on Saturday 11th of September

18th of September – A Pilgrimage of Healing. The day will begin at 10am and end around 4pm. We will begin in Llanynys Church and take a narrated journey to Llanychan and on to Llangynhafal. We’ll be having lunch in Llanychan (bring a lunch box with you) so we can enjoy pudding from Chilli Cows then on to the Community Garden in Gellifor before ending Llangynhafal where we will celebrate the Healing Liturgies with sprinkling from the holy well and anointing with oil. Dress appropriately for the weather forecast, the path is generally flat and should involve around 2-3 hours of actual walking interspersed with rest stops and prayers.

Yours
