Dear friends

 

Please find attached this week’s newsletter which covers the Christmas week. With so much happening throughout the Mission Area in the lead up to, and during, Christmas I felt it was important to keep you all up-to-date with what’s planned, where and when.

 

You will find attached a Word and PDF copy of the newsletter which spans the 18^th to 25^th December. Readings are attached for the 24^th and the 25^th December. There are also two posters advertising the various events happening throughout the Mission Area this December and early January.

 

Everyone is welcome to join us on Christmas Eve and/or Christmas Day, so please do feel free to come along to any of the services. Of course, please do share with anyone not on the newsletter distribution list and also please display on your noticeboards, Facebook pages and throughout any other groups, too. Just in case you missed Bishop Gregory’s December pastoral letter, I am including the details here.

Bishop Gregory has issued his Christmas Pastoral Letter. May Advent continue to bring you light and joy as we prepare to celebrate our Saviour’s birth. As we approach Christmas, please hold our clergy, MAC members and all our churches in your thoughts and prayers. It is a busy time for many of us peppered with excitement and joy. However, for some it can also be a lonely and sad time of year.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services

Please refer to the attached Christmas Eve and Christmas Day poster as there are a number of services taking place throughout the Mission Area.

All services will resume as normal from Sunday 8^th January 2023.

Please note that I will be on annual leave from Friday 23^rd December and shall return to work Tuesday 3^rd January.
