For more than 40 years St Peter’s Church, Ruthin has celebrated Shrove Tuesday with a fun and fund-raising Pancake Race which has collected lots of money for charities. Sadly, in 2021 we will not be able to run the race – again!

DESIGN A CARNIVAL MASK COMPETITION
These days we’re used to seeing people wearing masks.
Let your imagination run riot and design a cheery, colourful carnival mask to brighten our days!
Use any materials you can find around the house to create a wonderful facemask.
Please send your £2 minimum entry fee [OR why not get family and friends to sponsor you?] to Revd Stuart, The Cloisters, School Road, Ruthin. LL15 1BL. All monies collected will go to Ty Gobaith / Hope House Children’s Hospice to help brighten lives there!
Please take a photograph of someone wearing your mask and, along with your name, school age category and a contact address, send it to the above address or as an attachment to: cymrostu@gmail.com.
Entries will be collated into an online exhibition where people can vote for their favourite mask. There will be a small prize for winners in each school category. Download an entry form here.
