Dear Friends, in this week’s round-up of everything Dyffryn Clwyd Mission Area, we have our annual, early Advent, Pilgrimage of Light in Llanbedr up to Old St Peter’s church. Please note we begin our pilgrimage in the church.
We have Christmas fare’s coming up with two on Saturday – a wonderful way to support your local church, and an evening of entertainment at Llangynhafal on 2nd Dec with a Winter Wonderland of songs from our very own Welsh Elvis.

This Sunday, we will begin the four weeks leading up to Christmas; with music and readings, we will be thinking about Advent and how we use this important pre-Christmas season. Join us at our Advent Sunday evening worship in St Peter’s church Ruthin, 6.00 pm which will also be the farewell service for Rev Stuart. We will be celebrating Stuart’s time with us and giving thanks for his ministry amongst us these last 12 years. Do come along and join us and the gathering afterwards, to wish him a very happy retirement.

Coming up this week
Friday 25th November at 5.00pm join the Pilgrimage of Light to begin Advent
Join us at 5pm in Llanbedr DC Church, where we will begin our Advent journey towards Christmas…
Following the narrative of Advent we will journey together to the Old Church, switching on the village lights and then enjoy refreshments back at the new church.
Saturday 26th November – time for Christmas fares, fun and activities.
St Peter’s church Ruthin will be joining a number of our other churches in the mission area with a Christmas stall at the Ruthin Christmas Festival this Saturday 10.00 – 3.00 pm.
St Garmon’s Llanarmon yn IalCH7 4QE will be holding their Christmas fare from 2.00 pm to 5.00pm.
